Just received an e-mail saying that Christopher Bullock has decided not to run for Congress. No word on why just yet, but the primary is essentially between Hartley-Nagle, Northington and Spivack -- I'm interested to see who the state party will endorse now, as my money was on the reverend. Despite her merits, Independently thinking Karen Hartley-Nagle seems an unlikely choice. Northington could certainly be a very good choice for the party, although I'm not entirely familiar with his resume (I'll look into it). Spivack seems like their most likely choice, but I'd rather see either Karen or Jerry get the nomination, since Dennis didn't do the party much good last time around. But then again, John Carney, Matt Denn, Jack Markell, Chris Coons, Paul Clark, Dave Sokola and Tim McBride are all viable congressional candidates according to the local politicos.
More on this to come.

I think that if Carney as the Golden Boy of the party and the keg on legs Minner is the choice, send him up against Castle and to hell with the party. Let's see Tom Carper support that.
If you want to know more about Jerry Northington, go here....

Check out his blog posts to know where exactly he stands on the issues.
Beyond that, I can tell you that Jerry is as stand-up a guy as you'll ever run across. He is a man of principles, and he lives them, he doesn't just mouth the words. You won't find a better man anywhere. And he's in it to win it.
Haha Tim McBride! I guess no one else caught that...
I support Tim McBride for Congress
Sweet Jesus, Andrea, how many blogs are you guys posting this on? Nothing against Jerry, but it seems a little cheap to capitalize on this story the way you are.
Would you have a better suggestion on how to get the word out about a great candidate? What, exactly, would you consider appropriate?
I happen to think Jerry's a great candidate. I'd like people to be aware and read more about him. If that's offensive, I apologize. Certainly, no offense was meant.
I think it would be appropriate for you to let me stick to the story here and not interject an advertisement for your candidate. I don't doubt that Jerry is a fine candidate, but I noticed a practically identical comment you guys left on Delaware Watch. I'm all for partisanship and spreading awareness, but I will not tolerate spam, and if this happens in the future, your comments will be deleted.
Spam? I post a comment here and one someplace else concerning a candidate that is actually running for this office and you consider that spam?
Sorry I wasn't original enough for you. I thought perhaps you'd like to discuss actual candidates, and that referring folks to someplace where they could learn about one of the candidates would be beneficial. There was no spamming involved. But thanks for the warm and fuzzy reception.
Please, carry on with your discussion, I didn't mean to disrupt it. No offense was intended.
I'm with Mat on this. I don't know if you're new to the concept of the "blogosphere," Andrea, but your posts on numerous DE blogs would certainly qualify as spam in anyone's book.
I've no doubt Northington's quality as a candidate for Congress, but there's got to be a better way.
Yes, Andrea, that is spam. Minimize it as you will, you are being unoriginal and plastering Northington's website -- which I already link to -- on this entry's comments as if it were casual conversation. Your comment goes on something of a segue from the actual topic at hand (that is, Bullock leaving the race vs. Jerry Northington extravaganza). You hardly took any time at all to put up your comment (it's a rare occasion for me to find a post on a lesser-known blog and post an advert on not only it but also a second one within 3 hours). You take offense when I tell you your comment is spam and attempt to criticize me with childish guilting for calling you out on it. You are not only a spammer, but you are an incredibly annoying one at that.
damn, it is getting a little heated in here! :)

uh....Paul Clark is a POS, no-talent development whore. Nice pic there Matt. Keep me laughing.
Good to see you blogging Matt. -Mike Dore
Mat,
Allow me to interject the experience of age. I hope I can point out without offence, in a constructive manner, that your priorities are a little backwards here. To cut to the chase: if Andrea if the female equivalent of donviti hotness, be nice to her and offer to meet to discuss blog strategy then invite her to your room to review you ISP.
In other words, you're a teenager; go with the hormones.
Matt,
Thanks for the kind words. My resume is on the website for all to see and I am very available. The phone number listed on the website is my personal cell phone. I'd be delighted to talk to anyone interested in my campaign in any way.
Thanks.
Jerry
